Data Science Intern
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to assist in organizing and cleaning up our on-premises data. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data management, and it is ideal for students or recent graduates who are looking to develop their skills in the field of data science and information technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess the current state of on-premises data storage systems.
- Identify duplicate, outdated, and irrelevant data files and prepare them for archiving or deletion.
- Structure and organize data files in a logical and systematic manner.
- Create and implement data management protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and develop a coherent data organization strategy.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all data organization and cleanup activities.
- Assist in the development of reports and visualizations to illustrate data organization progress and impact.
- Provide support in data migration projects as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Requirements

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data management tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of data privacy and security principles.
