As a company that prioritizes innovation and is a leading photonics manufacturer, Energetiq Technology is pleased to announce that its Chromatiq Spectral Engine™ (CSE) was recognized among the best new products by the 2022 Laser Focus World Innovators Awards. An esteemed and experienced panel of judges from the optics and photonics community recognized Energetiq as a Silver honoree.
“On behalf of the Laser Focus World Innovators Awards, I would like to congratulate Energetiq Technology on their Silver level honoree status,” said Laser Focus World’s Editor-in-Chief Peter Fretty. “This competitive program allows Laser Focus World to celebrate and recognize the most innovative products impacting the photonics community this year.”
Energetiq’s new CSE matches real-world lighting conditions for accurate and repeatable calibration of ambient light sensors, elevating the performance of mobile device displays and cameras to new heights. In addition, the CSE provides precise control of the spectral content of light, allowing users to vary color temperature and hue, dim the intensity while maintaining color coordinates, and even flicker the output. This opens many possibilities in a wide range of spectroscopy and color-related applications.
Don McDaniel, Ph.D., VP of Research & Development at Energetiq stated, “We are providing our customers with the ability to emulate near-infinite combinations of light sources ranging from incandescent to highly structured, such as CFLs, and enabling them to rapidly switch between light sources to support high-throughput testing. Designing the CSE around Energetiq’s unique Laser-Driven Light Source (LDLS®) and applying an innovative, proprietary optical architecture results in a product with robust spectral stability and a combination of throughput, resolution, and dynamic range that’s unmatched in the market."
