Energetiq Technology, an innovative photonics manufacturer based in Wilmington, Massachusetts, recently announced the hiring of Vikram Singh, PhD, a semiconductor and renewable energy professional with over 25 years of experience. Dr. Singh is set to manage the newly formed Laser-Driven Light Source (LDLS®) Business Unit. Energetiq’s patented LDLS technology creates extremely small, high-brightness plasma that delivers the ultimate in efficient light collection and a broad spectral range, from the deepest UV through visible and into the NIR.

In his role as VP and General Manager, Dr. Singh will oversee R&D, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, and Service operations pertaining to LDLS. Prior to joining Energetiq, he worked at Lam Research and Applied Materials in various roles with increasing responsibilities, with his last two roles being Executive positions responsible for New Product Development and Technology Supply Chain. Dr. Singh received his Bachelor of Technology with honors from the Indian Institute of Technology. He holds M.S. and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University. Dr. Singh also holds over 35 issued patents and has authored multiple major technical publications.
